One of the most affordable but good quality sushi in Winnipeg. This place if deal breaker for couples for the a la carte/ sashimi/ nigiri section on their menu. Everything seems so cheap that i ordered too much. The waitress is friendly. The atmosphere is chilling.

Food is great, very decent service and friendly staff. We ordered a set for 4 ppl and couldn't even finish it as the portions are really generous. Our bill was 125 dollars for party of 4 - such a good deal for this meal. You can see the amount of fish on the plate. Will come back 100%

amazing sushi !!! we ordered agedashi tofu, shrimp tempura, Da Ch-Ch stone roll, Kim's roll, Danger roll, and Danny's roll, and omg everything was sooo delicious!! the rolls were the stars of the show fr. the agedashi tofu was just alright, but the complimentary miso and edamame really hit the spot especially since it was freezing outside lol. the server was super nice and made the whole experience even better. would come back!!

Definitely my favourite sushi place now! as soon as we went inside, everyone was so nice and we got a freshly cleaned table to sit at. The waitress was so nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The food itself was really good! unique combinations in sushi that was really yummy and cool! We got quite a few different platters including the Danzzu-Danzzu, TNT, Danny’s, and Dwight’s sushi and the beef teriyaki entree. They were all so good and well made. We even ordered take out afterwards to bring back for our family that stayed home. All of that came out to a very reasonable price which is always great. Further, the chef’s were so nice and awesome - we got some miso soup and they let us try some new salmon sushi they had made on the house. We loved it!! Overall, the place is great, the people are great, and the food is great! Only downside is the parking. We had a lovely time here!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The best sushi place I've been so far! The food is great, the atmosphere is cozy and on top of everything the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Especially the lady, (I forgot to ask her name), plus very child friendly. I would definitely go back in the future!

I am actually eating my order while writing this review haha I had Sushi Ya on my list for a while and tonight I craved for sushi and ordered from Sushi Ya was the best choice! I received my order less than 45min and everything was still hot. I chose unagi and assorted tempura. Their tempuras were amazing, there was also a huge piece of salmon. The tempura sauce was a mix of sweet, ginger and soy sauce(?), anyway, even the sauce was great :) Unagi was delicious, I hope they added more sauce tho. The eel was soft and tasty. I’d definitely want to dine in next time Highly recommend:)
